Position Overview
Serra Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Full-Time Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our family‑oriented staff. This role is the first point of contact for our clients and plays a vital role in ensuring each visit is smooth, informative, and positive. The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, empathetic, and thrives in a fast‑paced, team‑focused environment. Previous veterinary or medical front office experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a strong customer service background.

Schedule Expectations

  • Weekday schedule (Monday–Friday)
  • No weekend shifts
  • Full-time, consistent hours during regular business operations

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and patients warmly, creating a calm and welcoming environment
  • Answer incoming phone calls, schedule appointments, and respond to client questions with professionalism and compassion
  • Communicate clearly with clients regarding services, appointments, and hospital policies
  • Support veterinarians and technical staff by ensuring smooth client flow and accurate communication
  • Maintain accurate client and patient records
  • Handle payments and checkout procedures with attention to detail

Qualifications & Skills

  • Veterinary or medical customer service experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service focus with the ability to remain calm in emotional situations
  • Reliable, professional, and team‑oriented attitude
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy clinical environment
  • Genuine love for animals and respect for the human–pet bond
