Full-Time Courier
Job Summary: The emphasis of this position is to handle day to day interoffice delivers.
Job Duties:
- Performs pick-up and/or delivery service of test samples, supplies, supply requests and/or reports for a specified route.
- Prepares specimen containers with ice packs and dry ice as required to ensure specimen integrity.
- Maintains daily log on route sheet indicating each stop, any call-ins, and number of specimens picked up.
- Make recommendations for route changes that would be more expedient and/or efficient without sacrificing service or quality
- Performs a safety and operational check on the vehicle assigned on a daily basis. Insures an adequate fuel supply to complete the assigned route.
- Reports any operational or safety problems to supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions:
- Bending and lifting as required by job duties
- Frequently required to lift and carry material weighing up to 25 pounds.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 8:30am-6:00pm
