Full Time: Dementia Care Support Professional (In-Home, 1:1)

Thank you in advance: We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and experienced in-home care professional to provide one-to-one support for our mother, who is living with dementia. This is a stable, full-time position in a private home setting — not an agency rotation and not multiple clients.

This role is ideal for someone who values consistency, routine, and meaningful connection, and who has experience supporting individuals with cognitive decline in a respectful, calm, and patient manner.

Available Shifts

We are currently hiring for one of the following schedules:

3 days per week, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Monday, Wednesday, Friday

or

Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday

or

Part-time weekdays or weekends

Position Details

• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• 3 days a week
• Shifts: 12-hour shifts
• Pay: $18/hour
• Job Type: Full-Time
• Setting: Private home, one-to-one care

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including:
• Dressing
• Bathing
• Grooming and personal hygiene
• Mobility and safety support
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding, following established routines
• Administer medications in accordance with med-tech standards and care instructions
• Maintain a clean, calm, and organized home environment
• Perform light housekeeping related to the client’s daily care
• Offer emotional support, companionship, and reassurance, especially during moments of confusion or agitation

Required Qualifications

• Experience providing care for individuals living with dementia or memory impairment
• Med Tech certification
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and attentive
• Comfortable working independently in a private home setting
