Full-Time Equine Customer Service Representative - Waco

Brazos Valley Equine Hospitals, Waco PLLC is seeking a qualified individual to join our team who is motivated to help us care for horses. We are a premier group of equine practices with multiple locations in Texas. We are a busy, interactive practice with over 70+ team members and we believe in our ability to help people through the care of horses. If you have a desire to help improve the lives of horse owners and help us to grow our business, we want to talk to you. We are seeking a team player to work with our veterinary staff and hospital technicians. Horse experience is required.

Applicants must be able to maintain routine physical activity, possess a steady personality, be able to build relationships with our clients, and have the ability to manage their time. This is a busy and interactive position that will require communication and teamwork skills.

Duties include (but are not limited to)

• Serve as advocate for clients
• Answer phones
• Schedule outpatient, ambulatory, and emergency appointments
• Collect payment at time of service
• Assist with outpatient and ambulatory appointments as well as emergencies
• Set up, clean, and breakdown diagnostic equipment
• Ensure all areas are stocked, cleaned, and maintained
• Knowledge of basic equine physical and critical exams
• Assist with feeding all horses and keep stalls clean
• Data entry
• Organize paperwork and doctor schedules
• Monitor and clean office areas
• Assist with pharmacy inventory
• Assist with processing lab work

This position is supported by a managing veterinarian, office manager, receptionists, and other technical staff. This position will work in our Waco hospital.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

• Rotating weekends
