Full Time Floater

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Full Time Floater to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will support various classrooms and assist teachers in delivering high-quality education to students. This role is essential for maintaining a positive learning environment and ensuring that all students receive the attention they need to thrive. The Full Time Floater will work with children of different age groups, From 6 weeks to 12 years of age, and will be responsible for implementing lesson plans and engaging students in educational activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in the implementation of lesson plans and educational activities.
• Provide individualized support to students, including those with special education needs.
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
• Facilitate small group tutoring sessions to reinforce learning objectives.
• Support early childhood education initiatives, including Montessori methods and toddler care.
• Monitor student progress and assist with standardized testing preparations.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to develop effective classroom management strategies.
• Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all students.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must pass a BCI/FBI Background check.
• Background in early childhood education training preferred but willing to train the right person.
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage students effectively.
• Familiarity with special education practices and experience working with diverse learners is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for educating young children.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom settings and age groups.
• Commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment for all students.
