The Goddard School® of Chester Springs is hiring a full-time floater/ Resource Teacher to support classrooms across our school.
This is a flexible, hands-on role for someone who enjoys variety in their day, works well with a team, and genuinely enjoys being around young children. You’ll move between classrooms, support teachers, and help keep the day running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
If you like staying busy, being part of a team, and not being tied to one classroom all day, this role fits well. You’ll gain experience across age groups and build strong relationships with both children and staff.

The Goddard School® of Chester Springs is hiring a full-time floater/ Resource Teacher to support classrooms across our school.
This is a flexible, hands-on role for someone who enjoys variety in their day, works well with a team, and genuinely enjoys being around young children. You’ll move between classrooms, support teachers, and help keep the day running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
- Support Lead and Assistant Teachers in implementing lesson plans and activities
- Step into different classrooms as needed to maintain consistency and flow
- Help prepare and organize classroom materials
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities
- Provide individual support to children to encourage engagement and inclusion
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming classroom environment
- Assist with daily routines and transitions throughout the day

Communicate professionally with team members and families
- High school diploma required
- 2 years working with children (babysitting included)
- Someone dependable, flexible, and team-oriented
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A calm, patient, and nurturing approach with children
