Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Full-Time Infant Nanny to provide loving, attentive, and reliable care for infants in a nurturing home environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support a child's early development through engaging activities, safe caregiving practices, and personalized attention. Compensation & Schedule
- Schedule: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday-Friday (Overtime paid at x1.5)
- Hours: 40 hours per week guaranteed
- Pay: $30–$35/hour, depending on experience
- Start: Flexible (Before August)
- Commitment: 1-year contract
- Benefits: 10 daysPTO, 6 days Sick Leave, 40 guaranteed hours, Paid Federal Holidays, mileage reimbursement ( $1/mile )
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and compassionate care tailored to the needs of infants, including feeding, diapering, bathing, and soothing.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote sensory exploration, motor skills, and early learning.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks suitable for infants, ensuring dietary restrictions or preferences are respected.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment by performing light housekeeping tasks related to childcare, such as sterilizing bottles and tidying play areas.
- Monitor the child's health and safety at all times, including administering first aid when necessary and following safety protocols diligently.
- Support developmental milestones through engaging play, reading stories, singing songs, and encouraging social interaction.
- Communicate regularly with parents about the child's progress, routines, and any concerns that arise during caregiving hours.
Requirements
- 5+ years of proven experience working with infants in nannying, daycare, babysitting or similar childcare roles.
- Knowledge of infant care best practices, including feeding schedules, sleep routines, developmental activities, and safety measures.
- Valid certification in first aid and CPR to ensure prompt response in emergencies.
- Ability to perform light cleaning tasks related to childcare such as sterilizing bottles or tidying play areas.
- Flexibility to work full-time hours with a reliable schedule that aligns with family needs.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents and caregivers.
