Full Time Infant/Toddler Teacher

Friends Childcare in Brookline MA is seeking a full time teacher to join our team. We have open positions in both infant and toddler classrooms. This is a year round, full time position and you will be working with co-teacher(s) to fulfill responsibilities.

The ideal candidate would have:
*EEC Teacher I/T certification
*Associate's degree or above in Early Childhood or related field
*Experience working with children 3mos-2.9yrs old
*Experience planning curriculum, writing assessments, and holding conferences
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
*Flexibility in schedule; full time shifts are 9hrs with 1hr unpaid break.

Job responsibilities include:
*Planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum that fosters children's social/emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
*Cater to the physical and social emotional needs of children, including changing diapers, feeding, preparing activities, etc.
*Maintaining organization/cleanliness of classroom.
*Updating children's portfolios, assessments, daily notes, etc.
*Attend monthly staff meetings and professional development workshops.
*Open communication between parents, staff, and administration on daily basis.
