Koç University's Department of Media and Visual Arts (MAVA) invites applications for a full-time instructor position to start in September 2026. Applications submitted by January 19, 2026 will receive full consideration, with later applications reviewed as needed until the position is filled.

Qualifications and Position Responsibilities:

• Candidates should have at least an MA degree, and preferably a PhD degree, in media studies or related fields.
• Areas of specialization are open, but candidates specializing in emerging media, media and culture industries, media and politics, platform studies, television and film studies, sound studies, and strategic communication are particularly encouraged to apply

About Media and Visual Arts Department, Koç University

The medium of instruction is English. MAVA at Koç University offers an interdisciplinary curriculum that emphasizes visual communication, visual design, interaction design, visual arts, media studies, communications theory, media/arts management, photography, film, and production. With this diversity, the department offers four certification programs focusing on Design, User Experience, Film and Video, and Media and Management.
