Full Time Intervention Specialist

Intervention Specialist, in-person onsite at any one of our 7 lab locations.

Qualifications: Must hold at least a Bachelor’s Degree. Must hold a valid Ohio teaching certificate/license. Must successfully pass a BCI/FBI background check. Must successfully comply with a tuberculin testing requirement. Must hold Intervention Specialist requirements.

General duties: Provide special education instruction and support to K-12 students in a school setting.

Essential Functions: Developing and maintaining current IEPs and progress monitoring and delivering direct instruction according to IEP goals and objectives. Coordinating documentation and data collection with school psychologist for re-evaluations to determine continued eligibility for special education services. Notifying special education coordinator/district representative of need for amendments due to progress indicators or changes in services and changes in residence, custody, etc. Collaborating with district of residence representatives to coordinate services for students accessing state special needs scholarships. The role involves providing special education instruction to K-12 students, emphasizing communication and experience working with students. Premium skills such as curriculum development and lesson planning are essential for creating effective educational programs. Relevant skills in tutoring and childcare experience are beneficial for supporting student development. A teaching certification and a Bachelor's degree are mandatory qualifications for this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
