Full-Time Long Term Nanny in San Mateo CA

A warm and professional family in San Mateo is seeking a dedicated full-time nanny to care for their newborn son. Both parents work from home and value a caregiver who is experienced, reliable, and able to support their household with ease. They are seeking someone who will provide exceptional infant care while also offering light family assistance to help the household run smoothly. Benefits • Guaranteed hours • Paid vacation, paid sick days, and paid holidays • Mileage reimbursement Responsibilities • Provide attentive, loving care for infant (feeding, diapering, soothing, establishing routines) • Support developmental milestones through age-appropriate play, reading, and interaction • Maintain a clean and organized environment for the child, including bottles, clothing, and nursery upkeep • Handle child-related laundry and ensure the child’s bedroom and play areas are kept tidy and organized • Ensure the child’s health and safety at all times Additional Expectations • Comfortable with small pets (family has one 10 lb. Malti-poo) • Flexibility for occasional travel with the family (a plus, not required) • Ability to start early mornings (7:00 a.m.) • Collaborate and communicate openly with parents who work from home Requirements • Minimum 3–5 years of professional nanny experience (infant experience required) • Knowledgeable about child developmental milestones and stages • Excellent references (at least two long-term) • CPR & First Aid certified (or willing to update prior to start) • Up-to-date immunizations (Negative TB test within the last 2 years, COVID-19, Tdap, MMR & recent Flu vaccine) • Clean background check and driving record • Strong organizational skills and proactive approach to household support • Warm, patient, and engaging personality with a genuine love for children If you’re a warm, responsible, and experienced childcare professional with a passion for infant care and a desire to support a loving family in both childcare and household tasks, we’d be delighted to hear from you!
