Full-Time Maintenance Technician- Restaurant Operations

Role Summary

We are seeking a hands-on maintenance technician responsible for ensuring all restaurant equipment, HVAC, exhaust, and utility systems are running efficiently and safely. The technician will carry out routine preventive maintenance, troubleshoot breakdowns, and coordinate with external service providers when needed.

Key Responsibilities

1. Kitchen Equipment

• Oversee all cooking equipment (gas-operated stoves, fryers, grills, ovens, etc.) and refrigeration units (chillers, freezers, cold rooms).
• Conduct routine servicing, cleaning of filters, burner inspections, and temperature calibration.
• Ensure gas lines, valves, and connections are leak-free and safe.
• Maintain a maintenance log for each piece of equipment.

2. AC & HVAC Systems

• Manage and service 3 split AC units and 2 large DX units.
• Regularly clean filters, inspect refrigerant levels, and ensure optimal cooling performance.
• Coordinate with HVAC contractors for deeper maintenance when required.

3. Exhaust & Ecology Unit

• Inspect and clean kitchen exhaust hoods, ducts, and fans to ensure safe air circulation.
• Monitor and maintain the ecology unit (1x30), replacing filters and ensuring compliance with ventilation standards.
• Ensure grease traps and exhaust systems meet safety and hygiene requirements.

4. Automatic Door

• Maintain proper functioning of the automatic entrance door.
• Perform sensor calibration, lubrication of tracks, and minor electrical troubleshooting.

5. Drainage & Plumbing

• Regularly inspect and clean floor drains to prevent blockages.
• Check all plumbing connections for leaks.
• Ensure drainage systems around kitchen and restroom areas function smoothly.

Requirements

• Proven experience in restaurant, hotel, or commercial kitchen maintenance.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and gas systems.
• Basic troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Ability to respond quickly to breakdowns and emergencies.
• Organized and reliable with attention to safety and cleanliness.
