Full-Time Nanny

Love working with kids, but tired of the daycare environment or the constant search to find a family that needs your services?

If you’re looking for a calmer, more supportive environment where you can truly focus on children instead of juggling a chaotic classroom, Nanny Needs may be the perfect fit for you! We offer full-time careers in private child care where your skills are valued, your growth is supported, and your workday is filled with meaningful moments.

About the Role

We’re hiring at least 3 full-time nannies who are:

  • Passionate about investing in future generations
  • Excited to spend their day creating joy-filled learning opportunities
  • Skilled at planning crafts, educational activities, and outings to places like the zoo or library
  • Comfortable caring for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers (most families have children under 5)
  • Willing to help with child-related tasks such as cleaning bottles and dishes, doing children's laundry, tidying play areas, and other small tasks to keep the household running smoothly

This is not a babysitting job. It’s a professional nanny where you’ll build relationships, learn new skills, encourage appropriate child development in daily activities, and make an impact every single day.

Why Nanny Needs?

  • Training & Growth: We provide paid trainings, including CPR and advanced child care certifications. Your training and performance directly contribute to raises and career advancement.
  • Stable Employment: All nannies are directly employed by Nanny Needs, so no contract gaps or unpaid “in-between” time as is frequent for private nannies. This is a real job with a W-2 and opportunities to grow.
  • Supportive Culture: Created by a nanny for nannies, we know how important it is to support our staff. You’ll receive personalized coaching and regular check-ins to help you thrive.
  • Healthy Work Environments: We carefully screen families and equip parents to be strong, respectful coworkers.
  • Commute Consideration: We aim to keep assignments within a 30-minute drive of your home as much as feasible, although your location impacts your commute. Most families are in or around Little Rock and Conway.

What We’re Looking For:

Required:

  • High-quality, hands-on experience caring for young children (especially infants & toddlers)
  • Ability to pass background and driving record checks
  • To be drug- and nicotine-free (this is a safety-sensitive position)
  • Physical and mental ability to care for children independently for long hours
  • A reliable, insured vehicle that can safely transport at least two children in car seats
  • A smartphone for communication and scheduling
  • Prior daycare, preschool, nanny or other paid, professional experience
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification (we will pay for this training if not current)
  • Comfort around pets. Many of our families have cats, dogs or other animals and a candidate with a severe allergy not easily controlled with OTC medications may make this role less than ideal. Our care is focused on the kiddos, but furry siblings may need to be let in and out for potty breaks.

What You’ll Gain

  • Consistent pay and employment stability
  • Opportunities for growth and advancement through training and reviews
  • A supportive team that truly values your role
  • The joy of becoming a trusted part of a family’s life
  • The adoration of small children who grow to love their nannies

If you’re ready to leave the classroom chaos behind or the constant search for your next nanny family and step into a role where you can thrive, we’d love to meet you. Umbrella optional, Mary Poppins spirit required!
