Long Term, Full- Time Nanny Needed - Oakland, CA (94611)

A loving family in Oakland, CA (94611) is seeking a Nanny to provide full-time, long term care for their 17 month old, beginning as soon as possible.

Schedule:

April - June: Monday - Thursday, 6:30am - 6:30pm. Friday, 8am - 12pm.

July onwards: Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 5pm, with flexibility for weekends and extended hours

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Follow a structured daily schedule: breakfast at 8:00–8:30am, lunch at 11:30am, and nap time from approximately 12:30–2:30pm.
• Assist with preparing meals for the child when possible.
• Engage the child in play, learning, and reading activities throughout the day.
• Encourage independence in age-appropriate ways while providing guidance and support.
• Ensure safety at all times, including holding the child’s hand when walking on sidewalks.
• Light housekeeping, including the child’s laundry and cleaning their dishware (loading dishwasher).
• Safely transport child to activities, such as the park

The ideal candidate is calm, patient, and highly reliable, bringing a steady and reassuring presence to the home. They have experience or familiarity with Montessori principles and are able to incorporate structured, developmentally appropriate learning into the child’s daily routine. With a thoughtful and intentional approach, they support independence, curiosity, and growth while maintaining a consistent and nurturing environment.

Must be vaccinated (TDAP, COVID, Flu, MMR, Varicella)

Compensation: $35 - $45/hr (Sick Time, PTO, Health Insurance, Mileage Reimbursement, Holidays off)
