Ages of Children: 5yo, 3yo and 1yo. The two older children are in school most days and the nanny will be with the baby for the majority of the mornings. During the summers, the older children are in camps.

This warm, vibrant family is seeking an experienced and loving nanny to join their household and care for their three wonderful children. They share a sweet bond, play well together, and are affectionate, curious, and full of energy. The two older children attend preschool 5 days per week and the younger one will be attending 3 mornings per week at some point. The parents work demanding jobs and will require assistance for years to come, regardless of school schedules, and are hoping for a nanny who is excited to stay with them for the long term.

The family embraces a healthy lifestyle centered around good nutrition, outdoor activity, and joyful structure. They love to “feed the rainbow,” encouraging fresh, colorful meals and involving the children in the kitchen. Their oldest especially loves to help bake and cook. While the home is health-conscious, it’s not rigid—treats are welcome, and balance is key. The nanny should be comfortable preparing nutritious meals and snacks for the children and supporting age-appropriate independence in tasks like making beds or helping tidy up, as part of the family’s emphasis on kindness, responsibility, and good habits.

The family highly values outdoor time and movement, so an active nanny who enjoys park outings, walks, backyard play, and the occasional kitchen dance party will feel right at home - these are fun, active kiddos. Comfort around water (in the shallow end, with a lifeguard present) is also a must. The nanny should be a confident driver, as she will take the children to after-school activities. Social development is also a priority and the parents fully support the nanny arranging playdates and building connections with other local families or nanny groups. They are looking for someone who takes initiative in supporting the children’s friendships and development (and fun).

The parents work full-time, primarily outside the home, and describe their parenting style as relaxed yet structured as they are on their third child. They appreciate warm, predictable routines and believe children thrive with some boundaries. They value a nanny who can be firm but kind and can confidently lead the day. They see the nanny as a true partner in raising their children and want her to feel like part of the family!

Their ideal nanny is experienced, loving, and reliable—someone who truly enjoys being with children, can guide them with kindness, and isn’t afraid to say “no” when needed. They want someone who sees children as individuals, treats them with respect, and supports them in becoming kind, capable, and grounded future adults.

This is a household filled with warmth, music, joy, and a deep commitment to raising good humans. For the right nanny, this is a deeply rewarding, long-term opportunity with a family that will value and respect her fully.
