Full-Time Nanny / Household Manager for a Busy Family with Three Children

The Nanny Haven is assisting a wonderful family in their search for an exceptional, highly experienced Nanny/Household Manager to support their household and care for their three children: 3-year-old twins and a 6-year-old.

This role is ideal for a proactive, organized, and nurturing professional who can confidently manage the needs of a dynamic household while providing outstanding care for the children. The right candidate will take initiative, anticipate family needs, and help keep the home running smoothly.

Family Schedule

• Dad is an airline pilot, so the family schedule changes monthly.
• Position requires flexibility, including overnight care when Dad is traveling for work.
• During the summer, all three children will be home.
• During the school year:
• The 6-year-old will attend 1st grade.
• The twins will attend preschool Monday–Friday until 1:00 PM.

Compensation & Benefits

• Guaranteed 40 hours per week.
• Additional overnight stipend of $200 per overnight when overnight care is required.
• Two weeks of paid time off (PTO).
• Five paid sick days per year.
• W-2 position.
• Nanny Vehicle while at work

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, engaging, and developmentally appropriate care for all three children.
• Manage school schedules, activities, appointments, and transportation.
• Plan educational, creative, and age-appropriate activities and outings.
• Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children and family.
• Grocery shop, meal plan, and complete meal preparation for the household.
• Handle all family laundry
• Load and unload the dishwasher and help maintain an orderly kitchen.
• Maintain organization throughout the home, including children's areas, common spaces, and household systems.
• Assist with errands, inventory management, household scheduling, and vendor coordination as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties, including tidying, straightening, organizing, and helping keep the home clean and running efficiently.
• Oversee all aspects of household management and proactively identify needs before being asked.
• Anticipate family needs and take initiative without requiring constant direction.
• Support the family through schedule changes and travel-related demands.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional nanny/household management experience.
• Experience caring for multiple children, including toddlers and school-age children.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to renew before start date).
• Must successfully pass a comprehensive background check.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Comfortable with a W-2 employment arrangement.
• Strong references from previous families and employers.
• Must be comfortable swimming with children as they have a pool.

• Flexible with scheduling and overnight responsibilities.
• Warm, energetic, engaging, and genuinely passionate about working with children.
• Able to anticipate needs, problem-solve independently, and provide a high level of support to the family.

Important
Reliability is essential for this position. Because Dad's work schedule includes travel and on-call responsibilities, the family is seeking a candidate who understands the importance of being dependable and available when scheduled. Planned time off should be coordinated in advance whenever possible, particularly during periods when Dad is traveling. The ideal candidate is flexible, committed, and understands the unique needs of a household with a parent who works an irregular schedule.
