Located at: Exposition and University
Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m and Fridays 8:30 a.m. to 1 : 30p.m. plus flexibility for occasional evenings or weekends, 2-3 times per month. The family is happy to guarantee 37 hours per week.
Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out
Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year - longer if it’s a great match.

This infant is happy and healthy! She is on a great schedule and loves Mom and Dad.

About the Family:
Dual working parents with hybrid work schedules, they will both be in and out as needed.
We are a fun loving household that enjoys good food, sarcastic jokes, and traveling to amazing places when we can. We are warm, relaxed, and communicative, but also value consistency, teamwork, and respect for established household routines.

About the Pets:
This family has one Labradoodle - all candidates must be pet-friendly.

First time parents trying to navigate this very new life and concept of having someone new care for our most precious thing!
The first several weeks of this relationship should be focused on building trust, learning our household rhythms, and maintaining consistency for our child during transitions.
Key Responsibilities
A day in the life...

Standard Duties:
All standard nanny duties including-
Provide attentive, consistent, loving care for 8 month old baby girl and 8yr old labradoodle
Engage in age-appropriate activities (educational play, outdoor time, walks)
Follow parent-established routines, schedules, feeding practices, sleep approaches, and household preferences consistently
Discuss any recommended changes with parents before implementing them
Prepare bottles, cook healthy meals and snacks for baby
Maintain child-related cleanliness (food related items, toys, play areas, child laundry,etc )
Assist with naps, bedtime routines, diaper changes and potty training as needed
Transport child to the parent-approved activities choice when necessary
Provide detailed communication regularly throughout the day with parents about daily activities, milestones, and concerns.
Light dog care required (keeping water bowl full, letting dog outside every once in a while, giving them treats and love). **Required to take 1-2 30+ min walks per day with baby and dog

Travel Requirements:
No travel is required for this position, but the family would love someone who is open to it occasionally, and with advanced notice.
Desired Skills And Abilities
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…
5+ years of experience as an infant nanny, or a combination of 5 years of nanny and childcare experience, required.
Career Nanny is strongly preferred.
Early Childhood Education (ECE) coursework or degree
Experience with sleep training, potty training, or baby-led weaning
Ability to plan educational activities and outings
Long-term availability and interest in growing with the family
The ideal candidate will be a good communicator, follow mom and dad's lead on parenting, they will be reliable, up to date on childcare practices, punctual, and trustworthy
Compensation And Benefits
Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):
The family is offering $25-$35/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $53,300 - $77,620 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:
This family is offering all standard benefits, including 10 days of paid time off, paid major holidays, paid sick days, and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job or use of the family's car.

Any Additional Perks:
This family is also open to offering a health insurance reimbursement of $300/month based on the candidate’s needs/total compensation package.

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and a clean driving record.
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker/vaper
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have proof of all standard vaccinations, including this year's flu shot, TDaP, and the original COVID-19 vaccinations. Open on the COVID yearly booster.
