About the Family

A warm, easygoing family is seeking a long-term nanny to support their two children — a 2-year-old and a 4-month-old baby. Their toddler attends Montessori school in the mornings, while the infant has been cared for by a baby nurse who helped establish a strong feeding and nap routine. The family is hoping to find someone who can continue bringing structure, consistency, and calm organization into the children’s daily schedules.The family values positivity, teamwork, and a caregiver who keeps things lighthearted, upbeat, and solution-oriented.

They are looking for someone nurturing but confident, proactive, and comfortable taking direction from both parents while helping maintain routines and structure throughout the day.

Contract Type: Long-Term Employment (approximately 1 year)

Start Date: Early July

Location: Princeton, NJ

Schedule: Monday–Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Children:

• 4-month-old infant
• 2-year-old toddler (attends Montessori school in the mornings)

Compensation & Benefits

The family is offering $35/hour and is open to payroll or other payment methods (zelle, cash, venmo). Benefits include paid federal holidays, 5 paid sick days, 2–3 weeks of paid vacation, 40 guaranteed hours per week, and pay while the family travels. There may also be future travel opportunities with the family for the right candidate. While the family would prefer a live-out arrangement, they do have a separate live-in apartment with a private kitchen available if needed or preferred.

Primary Duties

Caring for both children, primarily afternoons with both children together

Maintaining schedules, routines, naps, and structure

School pickup for toddler at 12 PM

Engaging children in age-appropriate activities and play

Preparing meals/snacks for children

Supporting a calm, structured household flow

Collaborating closely with both parents throughout the day

Requirements

Minimum 3+ years of professional infant and toddler experience, including experience caring for multiple children

Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation

CPR & First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)

Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Up to date on Tdap and flu shots

Dog-friendly

Montessori background or understanding strongly preferred

Warm, upbeat, positive, and proactive personality

Strong communication skills and professional mindset

Pay: $35.00 per hour
