Full time Nanny Needed - Laguna Beach, CA

A warm, professional family in Laguna Beach is seeking a full-time nanny to provide attentive, nurturing care for their infant son. This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced caregiver who is passionate about early childhood development and looking to build a long-term relationship with a supportive family.

Location: Laguna Beach, CA

Start Date: April 13, 2026 (or sooner)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Compensation: $35-$40 per hour (based on experience)

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

About the Role

This position focuses on providing loving, developmentally appropriate care for an infant while supporting the household with child-related organization and light family assistance. The family values structure, engagement, and a caregiver who brings positive energy and initiative to each day.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, nurturing care for an infant

• Engage in age-appropriate developmental activities such as tummy time, reading, music, and outdoor walks

• Introduce and prepare a variety of healthy foods as the baby grows (and assist with grocery lists or shopping as needed)

• Take the child on walks and outings to parks and local activities

• Maintain child-related organization, including:

- Bottle washing and sanitizing

-Children’s laundry

- Tidying nursery and play areas

• Support the family with light household management tasks when time permits

• Drive the child to activities if needed (using nanny’s vehicle; mileage reimbursed)

Ideal Candidate

• Experienced nanny with strong infant care background

• Warm, energetic, and engaging—enjoys floor play and active interaction

• Fluent in English, bilingual

• Knowledgeable about infant development and routines

• CPR certified (required)

• Responsible, reliable, and professional

• Comfortable working in a structured home environment

• Comfortable with cameras in the home (nursery and exterior)

• Open to occasional additional hours (such as date nights or special events)

Additional Details

• Long-term commitment preferred (1 year or longer)

• No pets in the home

• Weekly housekeeper employed

• Both parents work outside the home

• Travel opportunities possible but not required
