Full-Time Nanny Position

Location: South End, Boston, MA / Nantucket live in during Summer

Compensation: $35/hour during school year

Start Date: August 2026

Guaranteed 30 hours/week

Benefits: 2 weeks vacation, 2 sick days, 2 personal days, 6 paid holidays

Overview

Warm, easygoing family seeking a long-term nanny for two children (ages 5 & 7). The 5-year-old is on the autism spectrum, so patience and a calm, supportive approach are key.

Schedule:

• School Year: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM

• Summer (June 27 – August 18): Live-In, full-time

School Year

• Live-out position in Boston

• Driving required for child pickup

• Parking provided

Summer:

• Full-Time hours

• Estimated $2,000 a week + a one time $2,000 bonus

• Live-in required in Nantucket

• Private bed/bath + all meals provided

• Time off provided during the weekend

• No driving required in Nantucket

Responsibilities

• School pickups (including Jamaica Plain)

• Meal prep and dinner for children

• Evening routine (bath/bedtime)

• Light household tasks (dishes, laundry, tidying)

• Dog care

• Engaging, structured play

Requirements

• Long-term commitment

• Warm, patient, and reliable

• Experience or openness to working with autism (ABA a plus)

• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle (required for school pickups in Boston)

• Authorized to work in the U.S.

• 3–5 professional references
