A loving family in Wantagh is seeking a warm, reliable full-time nanny to care for their happy and easygoing 6-month-old baby boy. Their current nanny is unfortunately leaving due to a family emergency, so the family is hoping to find someone nurturing, engaging, and dependable to grow with them long-term.

The ideal candidate genuinely enjoys infants, understands developmental milestones, and is comfortable in a home with pets — including a very friendly free-flying bird!

Responsibilities:

• Full care for infant including bottles, naps, feeding, diapering, and play
• Age-appropriate developmental engagement and activities
• Keeping baby’s areas clean and organized
• Light baby-related housekeeping
• Maintaining routines and supporting milestones
• Comfortable around family pets, including a friendly bird that flies freely in the home

• Prior infant experience required
• Warm, calm, and dependable personality
• Comfortable with dogs and birds
• Strong communication skills
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred
• Long-term mindset preferred
• Spanish-speaking a plus (family occasionally speaks Spanish at home)
