Part Time Nanny - Waunakee WI

A warm, child-centered family in Waunakee, WI is looking for a part-time nanny to join their household 1–3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and/or Thursday). This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who genuinely loves being present with children and is looking for a long-term role they can grow into — a new baby joins the family in September, so the position will evolve beautifully over time.

The Position

Part-time, 1–3 days per week, Tuesday through Thursday. Available to start as early as July 2026. We're hoping to find someone who can commit to at least one year — this is a long-term placement, not a seasonal role. Family currently has support from lunch-bedtime a few days a week, and really appreciates that timing, but willing to accept mornings based on the candidate.

The Kids

A sweet 5-year-old, an energetic 2-year-old, and a new baby arriving in September. This is an active, engaged household — the kids love adult involvement in their play, and a nanny who genuinely enjoys getting down on their level will fit right in.

What You'll Be Doing

• Active, engaged play with the children — this family values a nanny who participates, not just supervises
• Walking to the local park and engaging in outdoor play
• Toy cleanup and tidying play spaces
• Loading the dishwasher and hand-washing dishes as needed
• Folding and assisting with putting away children's laundry

Who We're Looking For

• A self-starter who can read the room and keep kids happily engaged
• Warm, kind, and professional — someone who takes pride in their work
• Comfortable with a mom who may be working around home or in and out throughout the day
• Spanish/English bilingual is a plus — this is a bilingual household
• Comfortable with a dog in the home
• References required and a background check is required prior to hire

Compensation

• +$23–25/hour, negotiable based on experience
• This is an independent contractor/household employee position; benefits are not included
