Full-time Nanny/Family Assistant Needed in Potrero Hill SF
A private family and first-time parents in San Francisco are seeking an experienced and flexible live-out Nanny/Family Assistant to help maintain their home and care for their newborn daughter, who is just a month old and is both breastfed and formula fed.
They live in a four-level townhome, have no pets, and use a cleaning service that comes every other Friday.

Responsibilities
Childcare Duties:
- Supervise and engage with the baby, ensuring her safety and well-being.
- Support infant routines such as feeding, diapering, naps, and playtime
- Assist with establishing healthy sleep and feeding routines
- Take the baby to appointments and outings as needed, etc.
- Encourage and support the baby's intellectual curiosity with age-appropriate learning activities.
- Prepare formulas and assist with any other necessary tasks.
- Create a stimulating and fun environment that nurtures the baby's creativity and growth.
- Monitor developmental milestones and communicate progress or concerns to parents
Family Assistant Duties:
- Assist with family laundry as needed.
- Help with organizing spaces and maintaining household order.
- Support meal prepping and grocery shopping for the family
- Assist with light home maintenance tasks (no deep cleaning required). There's a cleaning service that comes every other Friday.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional experience, Nannying for newborns & infants
- Minimum of 2 years of Family Assistant experience
- Knowledge of child development and the specific needs of newborns, & infants
- Long-term availability
- Ability to provide developmentally appropriate activities and stimulation for newborns & infants
Must handle stairs and hilly walking.
- Fluent in English | Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Clean driving record
- CPR and First Aid certification
- COVID vaccination, negative TB test (within the last 2 years), Tdap, MMR, and recent flu vaccine
- Must pass a background check
