Patient Service Representative

Arboretum Dermatology - Seattle, WA

Arboretum Dermatology is a medical and cosmetic dermatology practice in Seattle. We are seeking an experienced Full-Time Patient Services Representative to join our front desk team.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• answering phone calls and greeting patients
• checking in and out patients
• scheduling appointments
• knowledge of the products and services
• inventory and sales of cosmetic products
• referral management
• insurance verification and authorization
• processing of requests for medical records
• keeping the front desk and waiting area organized
• communicating with patients regarding their account and charges
• supervising all aspects of the front desk

The ideal candidate would have the following skills and qualities:

• excellent customer service and communication skills
• professional and friendly appearance
• ability to multitask under pressure with ease
• be able to work well as part of a team
• computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• experience in dermatology or medical practices
• experience with Modernizing Medicine Practice Management software
• prior experience as medical assistant or aesthetician a plus

This position is full-time. We offer free on-site parking, competitive pay and benefits after a 90-day introductory period of continuous employment (full medical/dental/vision insurance coverage).

Business Hours: Monday - Friday, 8AM - 4PM (office is closed 12pm- 1pm)

Experience:

• Front Desk or 2 years of college education (Required)
• Medical or Aesthetic Office: 2 years (Required)
• Insurance Verification and Authorization: 2 years (Preferred)
