Full Time Receptionist

Join Wasatch Behavioral Health and make a meaningful impact in your community as a Full-Time Care Team Assistant (Receptionist) at our American Fork Family Clinic (AFFC) in American Fork, Utah. This onsite role offers the opportunity to serve as the first point of contact for clients, families, and community members seeking behavioral health services. As a Care Team Assistant, you will help create a welcoming and supportive environment while assisting with scheduling, administrative tasks, and client services that support the clinic's daily operations. Working alongside therapists, case managers, medical providers, and other behavioral health professionals, you will play an important role in helping individuals and families access the care they need. Care Team Assistants in this position earn $16.49–$20.90/hour. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-8:00PM (Hours are Varied)
Compensation: $16.49–$20.90 DOE

What You'll Do as a Care Team Assistant

  • Welcome clients, families, and visitors while creating a positive and professional first impression.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and assist individuals with questions, appointments, and clinic services.
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage client appointments while maintaining accurate calendars and records.
  • Assist with client check-in and check-out processes and ensure required documentation is completed.
  • Maintain accurate client information and enter data into agency systems.
  • Support therapists, case managers, medical providers, and other staff with administrative and clerical tasks.
  • Process and distribute incoming mail, faxes, and other communications.
  • Assist clients in accessing services and connect them with appropriate staff members when needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with agency policies and HIPAA requirements.
  • Help maintain an organized, welcoming, and efficient clinic environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to support daily clinic operations and provide excellent customer service.
  • Complete additional administrative duties as assigned to support client care and clinic needs.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 6 months of clerical or secretarial experience
  • Strong communication skills (verbal + written)
  • Solid computer and multitasking skills
  • Compassionate, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Spanish speakers may qualify for a wage increase
