Full Time Server

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring efficient service and adherence to food safety standards.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests promptly, providing them with menus and information about daily specials.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using the Toast POS systems.
• Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner while ensuring presentation standards are met.
• Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including proper food handling practices.
• Assist with cash handling duties, including processing payments accurately through the POS system.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings.
• Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy atmosphere.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest relations and customer service excellence.
