Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and professional host/hostess services to ensure a positive first impression
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff and bartenders
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation, sanitation, and food safety
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Manage multiple tables with excellent time management skills, ensuring timely service and guest satisfaction
• Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering duties, including cash handling and basic math calculations
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to support overall restaurant operations

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings, is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
• Demonstrated ability in customer service, guest relations, and food handling to ensure safety and satisfaction
• Excellent communication skills combined with the ability to upsell menu items confidently
• Ability to multitask effectively while managing time efficiently during busy shifts
• Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
• Knowledge of sanitation standards, food safety protocols, and proper food preparation techniques
• Previous host/hostess or serving experience is advantageous; culinary or kitchen experience is a bonus
