Duties

- Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and growth for children of various ages, including toddlers and preschoolers.
- Manage classroom activities effectively through strong classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions.
- Engage in curriculum development tailored to individual needs, including special education and early intervention programs.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor progress and adapt teaching approaches accordingly.
- Foster open communication with parents and guardians through regular updates on child welfare, progress, and classroom activities.
- Support children’s overall well-being by ensuring safe childcare practices in accordance with licensing regulations and daycare standards.
Skills
- Extensive experience in early childhood education with a focus on preschool or daycare settings.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, including Montessori methods and toddler care practices.
- Proficiency in curriculum development across multiple disciplines such as literacy education, math, physical education, and behavior management.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds, including those requiring special education or early intervention services.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with parents, colleagues, and support staff to enhance student success.
- Classroom management expertise to create a positive learning environment that promotes safety and engagement.
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and tutoring strategies to support academic achievement.
