Full-Time Teacher Assistant

Berkys Day Care is seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Teacher Assistant to join our team.

About Us

We are a New York State-licensed in-home daycare with a dedicated childcare floor separate from the living area, providing a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children.

Schedule

Monday–Friday 
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher with daily classroom activities
• Support educational lessons and learning experiences
 Supervise children in a safe and positive environment
• Assist with diapering, toileting, feeding, and daily care routines
 Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary classroom
• Foster children’s social, emotional, and educational development

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience working with children ages 2–5
• Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English

• Reliable transportation and access to a vehicle
• Experience changing diapers
 Organized, dependable, and team-oriented
• Ability to follow daily lesson plans and routines

• Flexible to work additional hours when needed
• Interested in a long-term position with growth opportunities

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must drive your own car
