As a Technical Trainer you’re responsible for successfully creating, communicating and evaluating highly technical concepts to an audience with varying degrees of expertise. The successful candidate has strong communication skills, ability to simplify complex concepts, demonstrated proficiency in conducting classroom training for highly technical products and services.
What You Will Do

Assist in developing & maintaining technical training content, exercises, presentations, and accompanying materials in accordance with the ADDIE process.

Deliver instructor-led classroom training to stakeholders.

Work with external and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate, effective training content.

Conduct training sessions and assist in evaluating the effectiveness of training activities.

Assist with reviewing course documentation on a continual basis to ensure accuracy and relevance.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university

This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).

Experience developing technical training
Qualifications We Prefer:

Experience designing and developing instructor-led content using technical materials.

Excellent oral presentation skills, interpersonal communication, and writing skills.

Experience instructing in a classroom environment.

A strong “stage presence” and ability to manage a classroom of adult learners.

Self-sufficient, self-starter with proven success taking ownership of projects.

Proficient with Adobe Create Suite and Microsoft Office.

Proficient in industry standard tools to create impactful courses, including a solid grasp of graphic and web design principles and good understanding of current web technologies.

Prior military service operating and/or maintaining various defense systems.

This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 55,000 USD - 107,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
