Full-time Traveling Journeyman Electrician

Job Overview
Tribe Lighting and Energy is seeking a skilled and dependable Journeyman Electrician to join our Field Operations team. In this role, you’ll perform lighting repairs, lighting and control upgrades, electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance across a variety of commercial job sites.

This is a full-time, travel-based position with projects primarily across Texas, Minnesota, Indiana, Louisiana, and Nebraska. Candidates must be comfortable with frequent overnight stays and consistent travel (90% of the time).

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with management and team members to plan and execute projects.
  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair lighting and electrical systems in commercial settings.
  • Interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
  • Run conduit, pull wire, and terminate devices in compliance with NEC and local codes.
  • Organize and maintain work vehicles with tools and supplies needed for jobs.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects on time.
  • Maintain clean and organized workspaces on-site.
  • Travel to job sites (90% travel required) and work overnight as needed.
  • Ensure all work meets safety standards and electrical codes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of commercial electrical experience required.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid Journeyman Electrician license (or willingness to test promptly).
  • Strong knowledge of NEC and electrical safety protocols.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and schematics.
  • Physically able to lift, carry, climb, and work in varied environments.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across multiple states.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and reliability.

Schedule

Location
This is a multi-state, travel-based field role. Applicants must be comfortable with continuous travel to commercial job sites in Texas, Minnesota, Indiana, Louisiana, and Nebraska.
