Full Time/Part Time Child Care Teacher

Perry Heights Child Care is searching for full time and part time teachers to join our team!

Full time teacher must be available 9:00 am-5:30 pm Monday-Friday

Part time teacher must be available 12:00 pm-5:30 pm. Flexible days available.

CDA or related degree preferred but not required.

Duties:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in a childcare setting
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and lesson plans to promote child development
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and social interaction
- Monitor children's behavior and intervene when necessary to ensure their safety and well-being
- Collaborate with parents and communicate regularly about their child's progress and any concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the childcare facility

-Change diapers and assist in potty training with children under 3 years.

Skills:
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that promote learning in areas such as sensory, literacy, and social skills
- Experience working in a daycare or childcare setting
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Understanding of child welfare guidelines and regulations

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
