Fully Remote Attorney: Trademarks (entry level)

This is a remote, flexible, independent contractor role. No previous trademark experience is required, we'll provide several weeks of paid training.

Responsibilities

• Correspond with clients on trademark applications, future use, and renewals
• Correspond with foreign counsel and clients on international trademarks
• Negotiate cease and desist letters and consent agreements
• File motions in trademark cancellations, oppositions, and letters of protest
• File copyrights and infringement reports
• Participate in weekly attorney meeting to collaborate on complex trademark matters and resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Must have active bar membership in one US state
• Previous experience working with customers
• A people person: you remember people's dogs names
• Ability to listen to customers, understand the core issue, and respond in a simple, friendly way

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
