Description :

The candidate will work with the software development organizations of our customers and internal product development teams to design the high-level architecture of a vehicle's software systems, focusing on safety, security, and user experience, while ensuring feasibility and alignment with project goals and industry standards like AUTOSAR, ISO26262 and ISO21434.

This role involves defining technical blueprints, setting technology standards, collaborating with engineers, and staying updated on advancements in areas like Electrical Vehicle development, autonomous driving, and vehicle networks etc. to create integrated, efficient, and innovative automotive software solutions.

Key responsibilities

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Design and Develop Architecture: Create high-level software architecture and detailed technical blueprints for vehicle software development.

Ensure Performance and Safety: Align software architecture with performance, cost, timing, and safety/security objectives to enhance vehicle functionality and user experience.

Drive Development Processes: Provide technical direction and improve development processes, potentially leveraging Agile methodologies.

Requirements:

BSEE/BS Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering (or equivalent). MS preferred.

8 or more years of total relevant work experience.

Experienced in software development with Microcontrollers preferably Tri core, DSP, hardware accelerator architecture/design and verification processes, SoC/ASIC design methodologies.

Willingness and motivation to learn and apply standard compliance requirements of emerging markets

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and clear, concise documentation writing skills

Excellent verbal and written communications skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas succinctly and persuasively to peers, management, customers and partners.

Must Have:

Proficient in designing software solutions with modularity, reusability, and testability in mind.

Experienced with SW architecture and design tools like Rhapsody, Enterprise Architect, etc. and methodologies like MDB, SOA, TDD.

Coding Proficiency: Experience with relevant automotive software development tools and programming languages (e.g., C/C++, MATLAB) and AUTOSAR development.

Proven record of taking customer safety requirements from concept to final product.

Very good hands on with Automotive communication Protocols such as Automotive Ethernet, CAN
