Functional Validation Engineer

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 4–9 years

Notice Period: Immediate to 30 days

Your Role

As a Functional Validation Engineer, you will be responsible for validating complex systems and subsystems in the signalling and locomotive domain. You’ll work closely with engineering and QA teams to ensure functionality, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.

In this role, you will:

  • Perform functional validation activities using NI Test Stand and Wireshark.
  • Validate signalling systems and locomotive components to ensure operational integrity.
  • Develop and execute test cases based on system requirements and specifications.
  • Analyze test results and troubleshoot issues to support system improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance validation coverage and efficiency.
  • Document validation processes and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Job Description - Grade Specific

Your Profile

  • 4–9 years of experience in functional validation or system testing.
  • Hands-on experience with NI Test Stand and Wireshark.
  • Exposure to signalling and locomotive domain technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
