Job Summary
The Fund Manager (Stock Broker Operations Manager) will be responsible for overseeing and managing all brokerage operations to ensure timely and accurate execution of trades across multiple asset classes. This individual will serve as the primary liaison between the company and leading brokerage firms such as Arif Habib Brokerage and AKD Securities, ensuring seamless communication and operational efficiency. The role is integral to the organization’s trading and investment activities, supporting compliance, risk management, and process optimization across Pakistan’s capital markets while aligning with the group’s global market including US, UK, MENA, China and Pakistan.
Key Responsibilities
- You will oversee and manage all brokerage operations, ensuring timely and accurate execution of trades across multiple asset classes.
- You will act as the primary liaison between the company and brokerage firms, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring seamless communication.
- You will allocate and manage investment funds in Pakistan’s local capital market through leading brokerage firms such as Arif Habib Brokerage and AKD Securities.
- You will monitor daily trade activities, reconcile transactions, and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- You will prepare detailed operational reports, including trade summaries, settlement status, and performance metrics, for senior management review.
- You will identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard the company’s interests.
- You will continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
- You will ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all brokerage activities, including approvals and compliance checks.
- You will resolve operational issues promptly, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to maintain service excellence.
- You will stay updated on market regulations, trading guidelines, and industry best practices to ensure full compliance.
- You will support audits and regulatory inspections by providing accurate and timely information.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in brokerage operations, trade settlement, or capital market operations.
- Strong knowledge of Pakistan’s capital markets, trading systems, and regulatory frameworks (SECP, PSX, NCCPL, CDC).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and brokerage management tools.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
