Two well-regarded law firms in Dubai are seeking to hire Funds Lawyers at different levels of seniority as part of continued growth in their investment funds practices.

These opportunities offer exposure to high-quality, cross-border funds work in a dynamic Middle East market, advising regional and international clients.

Role 1: Funds Lawyer (Mid-Level Associate)

International Law Firm

This role sits within a well-established international funds practice advising asset managers on the formation and operation of private investment funds.

Key Responsibilities

• Advising on the structuring and establishment of private equity, venture capital, real estate, and alternative funds
• Drafting and negotiating fund documentation, including LPAs, PPMs, IMAs, and side letters
• Advising on regulatory matters in the DIFC and ADGM
• Supporting fund closings and ongoing advisory work
• Working closely with partners and international offices

Candidate Profile

• Qualified lawyer (common law jurisdiction)
• Approximately 3–6 years’ PQE in funds or asset management
• Strong drafting skills and technical funds knowledge
• Offshore funds experience (e.g. Cayman) advantageous

Role 2: Senior Funds Associate

International Law Firm

This is a senior-level role within a growing funds practice, offering significant responsibility and client exposure.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading fund formations and advising on complex fund structures
• Drafting and negotiating core fund documentation
• Advising fund managers on regulatory and compliance matters
• Managing junior lawyers and contributing to practice development
• Acting as a key client contact

Candidate Profile

• Qualified lawyer with 5–8+ years’ PQE in funds
• Strong experience advising on private funds
• Familiarity with DIFC / ADGM regimes preferred
• Commercial, confident, and comfortable running matters
