Furniture Carpenter

Job Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials for furniture.
• Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Sand, finish, and polish furniture pieces to perfection.
• Repair or refurbish damaged or worn furniture.
• Work collaboratively with designers and other carpenters.
• Ensure quality control and maintain high standards in all projects.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines in the workshop.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a carpenter, especially in furniture making.
• Strong understanding of wood properties and carpentry techniques.
• Ability to use a wide range of tools and machinery.
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for design and quality.
• Physical strength and stamina.
• Strong work ethic and time management skills.
• Preferred:
• Formal training or apprenticeship in carpentry.
