Furniture carpenter

• Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plywood, MDF, and other materials
• Construct and install doors, windows, cabinets, furniture, and partitions
• Perform repair and maintenance of wooden items and fittings
• Install flooring, wall panels, ceilings, and custom woodwork
• Use hand tools (saws, chisels, hammers) and power tools (drills, routers, sanders) efficiently and safely
• Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and finishing standards
• Coordinate with site supervisors, electricians, and other trades
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
