Furniture carpenter

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings, sketches, and furniture designs.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials accurately.
• Assemble furniture such as cabinets, tables, chairs, wardrobes, beds, and shelves.
• Operate woodworking machines and hand tools safely.
• Repair damaged furniture and replace defective parts.
• Apply finishes such as varnish, paint, laminate, or polish.
• Inspect completed furniture for quality and durability.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean working area.
• Follow workplace safety standards and company procedures.
• Coordinate with supervisors, designers, or clients when required.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of woodworking techniques and furniture construction.
• Ability to use carpentry tools and machinery.

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,000.00 per hour
