Furniture Carpenter and Stitcher

We are a French company based in Dubai looking to urgently hire a Furniture carpenter and stitcher/upholsterer.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Build furniture frames and complete pieces according to blueprints or design drawings
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood or other materials
• Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
• Sand, finish, and inspect products for quality and durability
• Install hardware (hinges, drawer slides, etc.) as needed
• Stitching, gluing, and nailing fabric into place
• Collaborate with designers or supervisors to meet design and quality standards

Requirements and skills

• Mandatory 10+ years of UAE experience as a furniture carpenter and stitcher/upholsterer
• Ability to read technical drawings and plans
• Skilled in using woodworking tools and machinery
• Knowledge of upholstery tools including hot knives, nail guns, and sewing equipment
• Attention to detail and strong craftsmanship

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
