Furniture Carpenter (Zagre, Croatia)

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Planning: Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, or sketches to understand project requirements.
Production: Measure, mark, cut, and shape wood and other materials to exact specifications.
Assembly & Finishing: Assemble furniture parts using screws, nails, or adhesives; sand, stain, varnish, or paint finished pieces.
Installation & Repair: Install cabinets, shelves, and fitted furniture on-site. Repair or replace damaged furniture parts.
Material Selection: Select, source, and inspect lumber for quality and durability.
Maintenance: Maintain and operate tools and machinery safely, keeping the workspace organized and clean.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Skill: Proficiency in using hand tools and power machinery (e.g., drills, saws, sanders).
Experience: Previous experience in carpentry, cabinetmaking, or a related field (often 4+ years for journey-level).
Physical Ability: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in varied positions.
Accuracy: Strong attention to detail and ability to take precise measurements.
Safety Minded: Knowledge of, and adherence to, health and safety regulations.
