Furniture Designer-FF&E

The Role
We are seeking a creative and skilled Furniture Designer to join our dynamic FF&E team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a passion for designing innovative and functional furniture pieces that enhance interiors and meet client specifications. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects within the vibrant UAE market. Responsibilities: - Conceptualize and design furniture pieces from initial sketches to final production drawings. - Collaborate closely with interior designers, architects, and production teams to ensure seamless integration of furniture with overall design plans. - Select appropriate materials, finishes, and manufacturing methods that balance aesthetics, functionality, and cost. - Stay updated with current furniture design trends and emerging technologies to incorporate innovative ideas into designs. - Prepare detailed documentation including technical specs, manufacturing guides, and presentation materials for clients and suppliers. - Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and maintaining design quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Furniture Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, or related field. - Proven experience in furniture design within the FF&E industry, preferably in commercial and residential projects. - Strong understanding of furniture construction, materials, and manufacturing processes. - Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar tools. - Excellent creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and communicate design concepts clearly. - Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus. - Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
