Furniture Installer, Office Supply Delivery, and Warehouse Management

Job description

We are looking for a reliable, self-motivated individual with a “can-do” attitude who will be responsible for installing commercial furniture teaming with our furniture installation crew.

Under the direction and reporting to the project manager, you will receive, assemble, deliver, and install commercial furniture.

Type of products include: Case Goods (Desks & Storage), Seating, Systems/Cubicles, Glass Boards, Tables (Conference & Training), other storage (Filing Cabinets).

This position will also have the responsibility of running a route each day for office supply deliveries.

Travel: Local with some travel to surrounding areas. Be able to travel with occasional overnight or weekly stays. Meals and Hotels paid for when traveling.

Job Responsibilities:

  • New Installations: Receive, assemble, deliver, and install at customer location(s).
  • Maintain logs of hours spent on installations.
  • Operate a forklift (training provided)
  • Deliver supplies to customer’s office(s).
  • Ensure the upkeep of warehouse and shop areas by keeping neat and organized.
  • Set-up at trade shows and for our showroom.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships through quality and positive service.
  • Maintaining an organized warehouse.

Qualifications

Typically Required:

  • Experience with hand tools and cordless drills
  • Job experience that shows reliability and good work ethic.
  • A valid driver's license.

Installer will receive installation training.
