Your Role: The Scheduling Superstar

As our Furniture Pickup Scheduler, you’re the command center of our donation operation.

You’ll:

• Keep our pickup calendar running like clockwork
• Be the friendly voice donors remember
• Build smart, efficient routes for our drivers
• Connect donors, drivers, and leadership seamlessly

What You’ll Do Scheduling & Planning

• Coordinate pickup requests (phone, online, email, in-store)
• Build efficient daily routes
• Confirm donation details and eligibility

Donor Experience

• Answer questions with warmth and professionalism
• Guide donors through what we can (and can’t) accept
• Keep communication clear, friendly, and timely

Driver Coordination

• Work closely with drivers and the Facilities Manager
• Adjust schedules when life happens (weather, delays, etc.)
• Share important notes to ensure smooth pickups

Smart Routing

• Optimize routes using maps/tools
• Prevent overbooking and improve efficiency
• Suggest better ways to streamline operations

Tracking & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of pickups and cancellations
• Monitor trends and share insights
• Keep leadership informed of challenges and wins
