LaChance Interiors, Inc. is a family-owned furniture store that offers fine quality, American-made home furnishings located in historic Gardner, Massachusetts…once considered to be the furniture capital of New England.

We are searching for an enthusiastic Sales Professional that enjoys helping people. Must be confident, creative and understands the importance of relationship selling. Someone who gets great satisfaction from connecting with their customers to understand their needs, while providing a pleasant and positive furniture buying experience. Comprehensive product training and skills development are provided.

• LISTEN/UNDERSTAND the customer’s needs
• FOLLOW UP and FOLLOW THROUGH with the SALE
• MAXIMIZE SALES while providing honest, informative and friendly customer service
• Welcome customers in a timely, professional and engaging manner
• Develop furniture needs, create a design plan and
• Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge, detailing features and benefits
• Proactive client development and retention
• Process complete, accurate and legible sales orders
• Track customer orders and related service concerns
• Assist with maintaining a clean and organized work environment
• Assist with maintaining displays, catalogs, price lists, fabric samples, price tags and supplies
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
• Saturday and Sunday hours required - no evenings
• Enthusiastic TEAM player
• Exhibit strong selling and interpersonal skills
• Competitive drive… “Go Getter” with “Closer” mentality
• Self-motivator with the initiative to learn
• Retail furniture experience preferred, but not required
• Practical Interior Design knowledge preferred, but not required
• Must be detailed oriented and dependable
• Exceptional people and listening skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and balance the customer’s needs with the goals of the business
• Flexible to the needs of the business

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
