Game QA Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented Game QA Engineer to join our team. The role involves testing games across multiple platforms to identify bugs, performance issues, and usability concerns, ensuring the highest quality gaming experience for players. The ideal candidate is passionate about games, has a sharp eye for detail, and can communicate effectively with developers and designers.

Key Responsibilities

• Test gameplay, UI/UX, and system functionality to identify and document bugs, glitches, and inconsistencies.
• Execute manual and automated test cases across multiple devices, platforms, and operating systems.
• Collaborate with developers, artists, and designers to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
• Track and manage defects using bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Trello, or similar).
• Provide clear, detailed reports on test results, performance metrics, and quality risks.
• Ensure compliance with platform guidelines (PC, mobile, console) and performance standards.
• Participate in playtesting sessions and provide constructive feedback on gameplay balance, user experience, and mechanics.
• Contribute to building and improving QA processes, tools, and documentation.

Qualifications & SkillsRequired:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Development, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience testing games or applications on multiple platforms (PC, iOS, Android, Consoles).
• Familiarity with bug tracking and project management tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
