Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual functional, regression, and exploratory testing on mobile games (iOS and Android).
- Identify, document, and track bugs using tools such as JIRA, Testrail, or equivalent.
- Create, execute, and maintain test cases and test plans based on design documents and requirements.
- Collaborate with the development team to reproduce, isolate, and verify bug fixes.
- Test across multiple devices, screen sizes, and OS versions to ensure game stability and performance.
- Provide detailed feedback on gameplay, UI/UX, balancing, and localization issues.
- Participate in test planning, daily stand-ups, and release verification cycles.
- Contribute to continuous QA process improvements and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in manual QA testing for mobile games.
- Solid understanding of game testing methodologies, SDLC, and defect lifecycle.
- Experience testing across Android and iOS platforms (variety of devices).
- Proficiency with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Testrail, Bugzilla).
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about games.
- Familiarity with game genres, freemium models, and live operations (LiveOps) testing is a plus.
