Games Center Manager (2 yrs related experience required)

Job Summary
The American Contract Bridge League, located in Horn Lake, MS, is seeking an enthusiastic, organized, and community-focused Games Center Manager to lead day-to-day operations at our new games center, located in our headquarters. This full-time role involves scheduling and management of a wide variety of games and events (Bridge, card games, board games, video games, tournaments, etc.), promoting the center locally and online, and engaging actively with our community both in person and through social media channels. The selected candidate will be a creative thinker, moving the best ideas from thoughtful planning to successful implementation.

Operations & Scheduling

• Plan, organize, and oversee daily and weekly game schedules including tournaments, themed nights, and casual play sessions.
• Maintain game inventory and ensure all games and equipment are in good working condition.

Community Engagement & Promotion

• Act as the face of the games center, building strong relationships with guests, community groups, and local partners.
• Coordinate community outreach initiatives including school visits, pop-up events, and local partnerships.
• Host and participate in community events to increase brand awareness and traffic to the center.

Social Media & Marketing

• Manage and grow the center’s presence on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and X (Twitter).
• Develop and post engaging content showcasing events, game highlights, and behind-the-scenes activities.
• Respond to online inquiries, reviews, and messages in a timely and professional manner.
• Work with marketing team (if applicable) to create digital campaigns and promotions.

Customer Experience

• Provide excellent customer service, handling any escalated issues or feedback with professionalism.
• Ensure a welcoming, inclusive, and fun environment for players of all ages and experience levels.
• Gather and act on feedback to continuously improve offerings and experiences.

Requirements

• High school diploma; college degree or coursework a plus
• Minimum 2 years' experience in event coordination, entertainment management, hospitality, or a similar role
• Background in promotions, marketing or community outreach
• Passion for games (card games, board games, video games, etc.)
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in English
• Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation tools
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Willing and able to travel (overnight) up to 6 weeks per year to work at our North American Bridge Championships
