Garage Operations

• Oversee daily garage operations and ensure smooth workflow.
• Plan and schedule preventive and breakdown maintenance for vehicles and equipment.
• Ensure timely repair and minimal downtime of vehicles.

Team Management

• Supervise and guide mechanics, technicians, and helpers.
• Assign daily tasks and monitor work quality and productivity.
• Conduct on-the-job training and performance monitoring.

Maintenance & Repairs

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Ensure repairs are done as per standard procedures and safety norms.
• Coordinate with external service providers and vendors when required.

Inventory & Spare Parts

• Maintain proper stock of spare parts, tools, and consumables.
• Prepare spare parts indents and control inventory costs.
• Maintain records of parts issued and used.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain vehicle maintenance records, job cards, and service history.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports.
• Monitor fuel consumption, mileage, and repair costs.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure safety practices are followed in the garage.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the workshop.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma / ITI / Degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in vehicle or equipment maintenance.
• Experience in supervising garage staff is preferred.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems and breakdown handling.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong technical knowledge of vehicles and equipment.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Planning and organizational abilities.
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, maintenance software).
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Working Conditions

• Workshop/garage-based role.
• May require extended hours during breakdowns or emergencies.
• Exposure to noise, grease, and mechanical equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
